Mental Map

This is a representation of a mental map. This particular map was made as an assignment by a student I presume to be in MIT or living around the campus, as the student describes the  area and the surrounding below the mental map. It is considered a mental map because it is a unique interpretation of space as seen by the student. The student also explains that it seemed highlights areas seen on a regular basis, while other building or streets were misinterpreted or put in areas that do not match up with a regular street map. All in all, it is cognitively construed by her perception.
